I remember getting pulled over by Metro Police (I ended up working for them for about 30 years) in front of my high school after putting down a couple of big black strips. The officer asked me if I was trying to impress the young lady that was in the car with me at the time. I replied that I did it for my own personal satisfaction. He let me off with a warning.....I think he might have been a car guy.
