I sir am what's right with the world... tell me, what does a 5k lb wagon offer over a 5k lb SUV? Driving dynamics due to a slightly lower CG lmao? Get out of here...
However, I'll tell you what the SUV offers... far more utility due to a taller load space, easier traversing over rougher roads as it's higher off the ground and far more rear seat comfort due to being able to sit higher / taller... that part is not even debatable and that's what people in this class search for.
This is why these wagons NEVER took off in the USA... because people here are bright enough to figure out that the utility an SUV offers are far greater than the little bit of performance a wagon would offer... you want performance and a better CG... buy a lighter sportier car... simple... and most people that buy a performance car anyways have 2 cars.
