We sear ours in a cast iron skillet, high heat, 3 mins each side, then in the over, high heat for 4 mins. Damn they are good!

Yea, sometimes I like the crunch of the onions. When I do bacon and avocado, I usually don't have other veggies. I just felt like that restaurant style burger.
