Although I wear suits every day, I do not wear the jacket all day, unlike my pants which unfortunately spend way too much time secured around my waist. So the pants essentially get twice as much wear as the jacket.
One thing to be aware of, you should always dry clean the jacket and pants together, even if they are not worn the same amount, in order to keep any fade to the fabric uniform between the two or three pieces.
As for as the sluts....
