Depends, he rear ended her, pushing her into oncoming traffic if I remember correctly. Then another vehicle hit her head on, killing her.
Typically you get charged with vehicular manslaughter if you're found to have been grossly negligent (i.e. driving drunk, speeding, texting unlawfully etc). None of those apply here. May want to try understanding law and how it's applied before making assumptions like that. You WILL be charged with vehicular manslaughter if you cause an accident that results in death if you're found to have been speeding, drunk, or anything like that.
He is, however, getting the shit sued out of him in civil court.
