The first thing i checked out were the brakes.
The calipers
appear similar, but they have different part numbers, as do the brake pads. Rotors on the M versions appear to be a 2 piece or floating cross-drilled design. It seems as if these are easily interchangeable with the standard X5's.
Love the M mirrors, too. Remind me of a Lobster for some reason, so I've been referring to them as "Lobster" mirrors.
