Dinan has three stages of progression; S1, S2, S3...all run on 91 octane unleaded. The last producing 408hp & 440tq. And provides a matching warranty. Expensive.
Nothing wrong with a jb4 or 3 or +, they are very inexpensive and give you maps otf and provide for e85 and meth. No warranty but excellent the for the strip.
For me I see it this way, 70 to 80 thousand dollar car, first year for the new s55, I'll take the warranty coverage behind door number 3 Alex.
Especially if you have long term ownership in mind, if on the other hand I were leasing, I too would go the cheapest route possible with a trade in mind in 3 or 4 yrs.
So, something for everybody.
