wheel fitment

hey i'm new to 5 series, my e90 just got totaled buy a dude who ran a red light, thankfully no injuries, but i'm thinking about going for a 5 series now. was hoping i could save my rims off my e90 because they are beautiful, i love em too much to sell them. staggered 18s size is 225/40/18 and 225/35/18

The offsets are wrong. You would have to run spacers. Sell 'em and buy some e60 5 series fitment wheels. My 2 cents...........

The offsets for an e90 are almost perfect for an xi only e60. I own a 2006 530xi that came with 17'' and I just upgraded to a factory set of style 162's (18'') off a 2006 330xi and they fit perfectly with 245/40/18's. 2wd and 4wd e60's require totally separate offsets. 2wd and 4wd e90's are the same, that said most e90 rims will work on an xi e60, but you will probably need larger tires. Hope this helps. Chris

hey thanks man! actually did put them on not too long ago and they do fit perfectly. but i do agree, can do with some bigger tires having the 18s on there. will probably be a smoother ride as well
