Thumbs up Matte Gray Carbon Wrapped Ferrari 360

We have just put the vivid back in Vivid Racing with the latest update of our Project Ferrari 360. In the past you have seen things from us in Flat Red, Flat Gray, Flat Green, Flat Blue, etc… But we wanted to do something different to our Ferrari to make it stand out in the online world. So many people do the flat black which is cool, but common. When people say the matte colors are over played, they are not, they are just getting started. Vivid Racing hooked up with Oracal vinyl to do this car in Carbon Fiber. But not just regular black carbon, matte gray carbon fiber! The series 975 “antharcite” material is very easy to work with. The material was really designed for this use.

So whats up next for the Ferrari? The inside is gonna get some love and attention being it is 9 years old. Basically some styling aspects and refinishing of trim. We are going to add some Challenge Stradale mirrors as well as a rear spoiler and better rear diffuser to give it a more race inspired look. We also just received a set of Moton ClubSport shocks to install (pictures coming soon). At the beginning of our 360 Project we talked about a Turbo Kit, this is still being planned.

As the car sits, it is equipped with the following: Agency Power Valvetronic Exhaust, Agency Power Headers, Fabspeed Cold Air Intake, StopTech Big Brakes, Radenergie Wheels, PowerChip ECU Flash. Stay tuned!!!

^ agreed

like the real CF airboxes, not the fake wrap.

i'm just into this new fad at all.........glossy paint will always look better. If you want VIVID.....try a good polish job on the OEM paint.

Another one?

Just another stupid trend that really needs to die. Look at pic #2, 3, 4. It looks like matte gray from a normal distance. When you see that car driving down the road, it will look like primer on a Ferrari...

Sorry, just my 0.02...

Maybe wrap it to look like wicker and get a dumb little dog to carry around in it? Instead of turbos, maybe a Honda outboard motor would be better? I don't get the fascination of trying to make something look like what it's not. This isn't as silly as the actual carbon fiber F40 being wrapped in fake carbon fiber, but it's not exactly far from it.

Did they also put LED strips on the front? Those are dope. Seriously, I HATE these stupid fake CF wraps. It's flat out cheesy. Why don't they put an ///M badge on the back as well? It's just as fake...

They make things out of carbon fiber to lighten the product. By wrapping something in CF not only does not lighten it it makes it heavier. Pretty stupid.

Real CF is cool.

Fake CF is lame.

Fake wrapped CFing an entire car is even lamer. I was actually excited when I thought it was just matte grey.

I saw the first few pics and thought "oh cool, it's just matte gray not carbon fiber print." ...then I scrolled down and

At least it's only vinyl and can be removed.

It's just for a bit of fun and reversible. I think I'd rather it be matte than Yellow. Just don't expect it to stand out in the online world, though.

Everytime I see one of these vinyl wraps, the first thing that comes to mind is ''What a f**** waste of money''.

At least it covered up that ugly Ferrari yellow...can't stand that color. If you want to make your Ferrari as ugly as possible, order it in yellow.

Somehow I don't think we provided the correct reaction to the OP, I bet he was expecting praise yet he's been universally dissed.

I wouldn't really say a car in full 'real' Cf is even cool. It certainly does not look good. The concept may be cool as a notion, and if it is a real the resulting functionality is cool.

But as a color or style it's just about as tacky as painting your car plaid.

As functional and technically awesome as the CCX in this picture is, it is not good looking.
