I really like that...the lines flow a lot better than the current version...without the M front bumper the current 5 series looks odd to me

I doubt that will fly- looks too much like the current 3 series. The production one will be a lot more different than that.

uhhh hahahaha if you look back into the e92 "spyshots" there were a lot of photoshops of what may come of it, and that was one of them. Old picture of what was supposed to be the "new 3 series"

+1 it looks like a damn 3er to me. I hate the body armor they put on the test cars (the actual spy shots from the article, not the Photoshop). Can't see anything! I guess that's the point, though.

yeah looks way to much like the 3 yeah it's cleaner but it needs some spice...a lot of people i know who own 5's say they wanted something that looked a lil diff and not so boring like an e class or an a6...whose lines are very boring unless you get an amg or an s/rs for the audi!!! bmw just needs to refines some of the edges and smooth it out and you will see a car that still has style unlike the one in the photoshop above!!!!

That's one of the reasons I leased a 545i. It was just so different looking to me and very original. I know a lot of people give the E60 flack about the looks but I always liked it. On a side note, that was one of the finest cars I have ever owned. It drove like a dream. Didn't mean to hijack the thread but I still miss that car

The F10 5 series may be out in mid 2009 and the M5 in 2011. They just did the mid life kicker in MY2008 cars.
