M57 engine swap old key

Hello, i am going to swap an m57d30 160kw into my dead e61 525d. The only problem is that my e61 has push to start button, but no cars were fitted with 160kw m57 and push to start. Is it possible to fit the lock for the old key to the newer steering column? I will get the new engine with dde, cas and ofcourse the key with the ignition switch. Do i need the steering column from the donor car aswell? I assume the wiring should be ready for both varianty.
Thank you for any advice
