E60 535i log HELP! Boost failure

Hey!

My 08 535i has 180K miles with jb4, bms dci, and 2.5" custom made down pipes. I run 95 gasoline. I have trouble getting boost above 6-7 psi.

Could anyone help me with these logs please? is it a turbo failure or a boost leak?

I would start by checking for boost leaks, if you have the stock charge pipe, it may be cracked. Also check all the vacuum lines to the boost solenoids.

I have already replaced all the OEM vacuum lines and both the boost solenoids with new ones. I have double checked on my charge pipe and it looks totally fine with zero cracks. I have recently changed my OEM DPs with 2.5" custom made downpipes. Could they be the culprit?

Just a thought, how is the engine running, when was the last time plugs, coils, injectors were replaced, when was the last time the intake valves were cleaned. I'm wondering if you are getting kicked into map 4 for some reason. It looks like you are on stock boost levels.

Plugs, coils, and injectors were replaced 3 months ago. Intake valves have never neen cleaned before. My cars has 180k miles on the clock. I believe one of the turbos is not working well. Although I am not getting any codes except for 30ff which comes from time to time only. It is weird!

If you have never cleaned your valves, you should look into getting that done, I did mine at around 65k and they were really bad and that was before I put the jb4 on. I would suggest going over to N54Tech.com and post your logs there. You will get better help there.
