Yes!!

I think the 5 series is absolutely stunning with the M body kit. The interior improvements for '08 are very nice, too. I would possibly have gotten the 535 over my 335 sedan if I had waited until now. However, I drove the '07 550, and the 3 series is defintely a sportier, more involving car to drive, and the suspension is tuned better (IMO)--it would be a tough choice for me if I were buying now.

5 is a winner of wierdest headlights contest. Back is Hundai-like. Ugly. Proportions pretty good though.

It looks hot with the M-sport package.

Since the interior space is not significantly better than the E90, there is no point other than the status symbol aspect of it. I haven't driven one, but I hear that the driving dynamics aren't as good either.

The back seat is cavernous compared to the E90. Go down to SC to the Performance Center and take a hot lap in the M5 and then let's talk about driving dynamics.

From my understanding, the 535i and the 335i should be very close in speed performance. you must take in consideration that the 5 series is almost the same weight as the 3 series and they both have the same engine.

Not even mentioning the size, I think the 5 is the second ugliest car BMW makes right now (6 being the first, with absolutely no offense going to the many on the board who have one).

The new 550i has that new front which looks a lot better, but at that price, I might as well pay the extra pennies for an S6.

535 doesnt have RFT?

Does the non-sport 535 have regular non-run flat tires? But the sport package has run flats with a spare? Strange...

5 series is for old people

the 3 series is too big, so the 5 is way too big

I think you meant E60post. E61 is the 5-series wagon.

And no, I don't lust after the 535i. Just not my cup of tea at this point in my life.

To big for me, but 535i definitely makes 550i seem like a gas-guzzler for equal performance and over-priced!

I like the 5-series sedan. If my next daily driver were a sedan, I'd pick an off-lease E60 530i over a new E90.

I don't because I love the sporty look of the coupe. It just looks perfect to me at the moment and the 5 series doesn't excite me when I look at it. Doesn't look as sporty and seems more family type.

Funny thing though my older bro is barely 24 years old and he's planning on getting rid of his GSR for a 5 series. I'm telling him to get the 535i since he said he's wants a good family (he has no wife or kids!) car. He also wants the golden/tan color :/

The 5 series is the next step *down* from the 3 series in my book. The 135i is the car e90 owners should "lust after."

If I was married & had kids I'd definitely opt for the 535...But I don't so the 335 FTW!
