2008 M5 price question and warranty

I'm a current 535i 2011 owner love the car but thinking about trading it in for M5 I have test driven the M5 awesome car, love the V10 sound, but was concerned about warranty. I have found a 2008 with 32,000 miles and with 6 years 100,000 warranty, the dealer is asking $52,000. I found another 2008 with 37,000 miles on it, dealer asking 49,000 but it's not BMW certified, how much to certified? or negotiate into price?
any issues with 2008 and 2009 M5 what is a good price?
or wait a year for the new M5 to drop in price?

Prices sound high. I paid $42k even for an 08 with 39000 miles and came with a Dinan exhaust. it was not a cpo, but I did not want a cpo. If you plan on doing any mods, don't bother with the cpo, they will void that warranty with just an ecu tune. Trust me I learned the hard way, even tho it was a Dinan tune and The problem had nothing To do with the ecu. BMW makes great cars, but corporate is a bunch of aholes, they will screw you every time. Find a good honest mechanic like I did.

Also I opted for a 6 speed because the smg is so problematic and plus automatics are boring, I sold me AMG after a year because there was just no thrill. Go negotiate that M5 and don't overpay! People are not running to buy 12mpg cars like the dealers want u to think

p.s. the Dinan issue was on my 2006 M3 not the M5 which has a good service track record.

thank you for the info I also would want the 6 speed manual too my 2011 535i is manual and love it, but i should of bought the M5 that i test drove three times. I was worried about going too fast in it. But my 535i N55 moves out pretty good. So the Dinan mod not good is that why they offer the same warranty then you have to fight back with Dinan who fault it is?
