Coded AppleCar Play

Hi, I wonder if my coded AppleCar Play will be erased, if my car receives an over-the-air map update from BMW. I'm subscribing to the BMW map update service. I have a 2018 BMW 430i, using idrive 6. Thank you

What exactly do you mean by coded CarPlay?..

Map update wont affect any coding. A software upgrade will wipe out all coding changes.

I mean my doesn't come with Apple Carplay, I have to install it from a third party.
