Modding question

I have roughly 59k miles on my e60 535i and plan on getting H&R sport lowering springs with the factory struts. I'm aware that this will accelerate the wear of the struts but was curious to know if anyone else has lowered their car with springs and when did your struts go out?

I plan to keep my car for about 1 year or 30k miles.

i just took off a set of st suspension tech coilovers that have about 2000 miles on them off my 530i not sure if they will fit but i paid 900 for the set im willing to let go cheap. i traded in the car due to mechanical issues.

other than that if you dont plan on keeping the car very long i dont think you would have alot to worry about over the course of one year.
