Both driving sessions are filling up fast! Register now to guarantee your spot!

This is the best $199 ever spent...driving someone else's car using their brakes, gas, & tires!

Made it to M Car Days at Groit’s and 50th Anniversary of M at the Shop. Both were local BMWCCA events. I am not driving over 1,000 miles to any event.

Not going to an M Car event without my M car. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

Turo, many members do it for events like this. There are tons of options, probably as many options as excuses. Just let it be

Oddly, no way to sign up for anything other that what's happening at the Performance Center (now Experience Center), and nothing at all listed on the BMWCCA National Website Calendar. I think I just lost interest.

Well, the factory tours are limited. You have to send an email to sign up. I just checked the cancellation policy. Looks like you can cancel the Performance Center drive by this Friday and still get a refund. I think I’m going to register and send the email for the factory tour. If the factory tour is full I might back out. I was able to get a really good rate at a Super8 just a mile from the center.

Thanks for being thorough and reading!
Yes there are a couple slots I believe available but it fills fast! I am missing those since I drive in Friday and arrive around 5pm directly to the Thunder Bunny open house!

Here are some screenshots with additional information. After you register for the event you’ll get a confirmation email and it will also have a link for the charity drive/hotlaps. fyi - they are not cheap. $250 or $150. There are four of them and there are between 8 - 10 spots left for each. For $50 you can drive your own car on the track.

I also included a screenshot of how to register for the factory tour.

I had Thunder Bunny do some work this summer on an E46 ZHP, and I was very impressed with their facility and especially the work quality (and I'm extremely particular, lol). Everyone I met there was great to talk to also. See you at the open house!

I wonder what happens if I show up with the M2C and a set of fresh, just scrubbed in, Hoosier A6 tires to run in the track competition...

I'm wondering if these driving sessions are similar to what they had at the 50th anniversary of M event last year. The price for the sessions at that event was $135.

Should be similar setup, I believe the G87 M2 will be used in place of the M240 like last year.

Got it. So from what I remember, they had M4s to drive around the main track and then the M240i for the timed event.

Yes, the M240 was for the mini track autocross portion. M4 Comp and sometimes M5 Comp are used for the bigger loop.
