Adaptive Headlight Problem after getting car back from dealer....

So, Last weekend I took my 04 530i Sport package into the dealership for an oil change and a state inspection. Since getting it back, I now have an 'adaptive headlights fault'. The little green led is now flashing at me inside the car next to the headlight switch and while all my bulbs are currently working, they don't self-level at start-up and they don't move while driving.

While there, they offered me a $275 headlight resurfacing service which I declined. I can't help but think that if I had accepted this service, my headlights would be fine....

Has anyone else experienced this type of situation? I'm taking it back tomorrow morning to find out what is going on with it, but so help me god, if they come back with a 'convenient failure' excuse and want to charge me a ton of money, I'm gonna go crazy on them and will be calling the BMW USA advocates...
