I don't like the exact finish on the M3, but I could see matte black working.. imagine how easily it would scuff and get dirty and how the hell would you remove scuffs from matte black...

I would never paint a car flat black unless it was a show car. For a daily driven car I think it begs too much attention.

The color of your matte looks like primer. The matte color on the Reventon works.

I've also seen that M5 around West Hollywood / Beverly Hills. Its definitely striking when you see it in person among other shiny cars. I'm not a big fan of the wheels though. There is a Lotus Elise in west LA that also has a flat black wrap and it looks amazing. I've been thinking about wrapping the roof panel of my Alpine White E90 in flat black.

If you like the old, faded, junkyard look, then looks great!

You guys should see what this looks like over time. I have a friend who has his GTB done in the chrome vinyl. After a while it turned silver. I think these look better in pictures than in person.

I've always liked flat black cars, but I think it could get old quickly as a daily driver.

And here's a piss-poor attempt at a flat black wrap on the E92. The wheels, plate, and grilles need to go, and they need to wrap the door jambs.

Its funny because those are supposily real pictures of the MATTE M5 and they all look photoshopped.
