All I could think of while watching qualifying was wondering how long it took to paint all that......

I unfortunately think we're in for our third horridly boring race in a row tomorrow. Mercedes is just going to destroy everybody on this track.

Vettel yet again destroying his own race (and Bottas' as well).
Well done again Max! Was hoping for rain but 2nd is not too bad.

Max saying Vettel needing to change his style has me dying.

Grosjean certainly isnt driving like a man trying to keep his seat next year.

Ferrari International Assistance at work, once again.

Vettel gets a 5 second penalty for taking out a manufacturing championship rival which allows him to finish ahead of the Bottas, whom he crashed out.

The 5 second penalty was the same as given to Sirotkin for driving too slowly behind the safety car. Complete BS.

Vettel is a hazard and needs to be sanctioned for his Red Mist driving style. He's consistently ruining his rivals races.

HAM gave a masterclass the entire weekend. Perfection.

New rule, you can’t finish better than the person you take out. Destroy someone’s undertray and get a 5 sec penalty? Bottas is quiet, but he doesn’t forget stuff like this.

Actually turned out to be a decent enough race, but they really have to change the optics of the track because all of that red/white/blue paint is horrible to look at.

Enjoyed that race quite a lot. Shame Ricciardo had issues and lost the podium.

Bring on 3 weekends of F1 in a row!

How many times did this happen with Verstappen and Kvyat on Vettel?

In Vettel's mind, Bottas drove into him.

*Bottas with the left rear puncture*
Vettel to team: "He backed into me. Honestly, what are we doing here? Honestly."

*Collective facepalm from Team Ferrari*

Also, agree with everyone in regards to the optics of the track.

The track looked like an injured Olympian with kinesio tapes all over it.

Nice race for Kimi, but aside from the first lap it was pretty boring. I do think Vettel assumed that Bottas was going to brake a half second later just like he was going to, but that proved wrong. He needs to be a bit more strategic in his driving, but I'm sure he was thinking how hard it would be to pass one of the top 5 on this track once the race started and so he got a great start, but, on the other hand, he should have also been thinking that there was still a good possibility for rain and it would be better to look at his starting position and figure that second or third would be an acceptable outcome with so many more races to go. If Kimi had better starts he could obviously pick up a win somewhere.
