Dsc rotation rate error

Hello,
I have a problem and i didn't get any good advice for it.
My car is a 525i 2004 and i have a month since my DSC light came on and here is a lot of snow. In the first week, sometimes it came on, sometimes it was ok. I went to a tester and there the problem was with the rotation rate sensor under the passenger's seat...we took the car to a test drive with the tester and the sensor was giving good feedback with the car's moves...still the error was that and if you erase it, it camed back next time i put the ignition on.

I would change the sensor but i"m not shure that will correct the problem
I was thinking if there could be something to do with the MPM, of the fact that the error came a week after i mounte new winter tyres 225/50/17...any advice is good
