HELP! 528xi Wheel, Tire, Fitment, Rotating Diameter Tolerance...
Hello, sorry if my thread isn't in the right place, new to the forum. I have a 2008 528xi and have a set of staggered 20" M6 style wheels. The rear tires that I have are 275/30/20 and 245/35/20 in the front. The rotating diamter is .99% difference. I've heard some awd systems allow for a up to a 3% difference. Anyone know what it is for BMW's x drive system? Can't really get a straight answer and I'd hate to do anything to hurt the car. Would greatly appreciate any experienced input..........thanks

You can indeed run staggered, however rolling diameter will be important. Im running staggered 19x9F 245/35/19 19x10R 275/30/19 2006 530Xi Pushing 80k miles , still fine.
here you go, this thread contains a massive knowledge base from alot of E60 Xi owners. http://forums.5series.net/topic/9513...nsions-for-xi/ Last edited by Go_Fork_Urself; 04-17-2012 at 08:44 PM.. |
