Horner in trouble at Red Bull

The woman in question is incidental...its a power play between Horner and Jos.
Jos has Max on his side...Horner has his winning leadership of the team on his.
If I had the controlling interest in the team..I would ban Jos from the RB pits and all RB functions.
If Max didn't like it he can take a hike as well....The RB car is clearly the best car at the moment, any half decent driver can win with it.

I can’t speak for all people. Personally, I’m not so much shocked as I am baffled. Horner was practically 50 when the affair started, twice married, well-off, decent-looking, jet-setter, head of a massive global brand. Folk like him DO know better. Yet, it baffles me that they still make rookie mistakes.

The rookie mistake is not hiding it better, not the act itself (for all the reasons you mentioned). Sex/passion is one of the pillars of life, and the very reason (it can be argued) that everything else exists.

I do want to meet this girl tho, powerful enough to wrangle Jos and Christian at the same time.

I reckon I see your point of view, as in, it's statistically commonplace to end up in bed with someone you know vs a total stranger. Cousins with cousins, spouses with in-laws, best friend's sweethearts, neighbours, household help, subordinates, etc. If that's what you're thinking, I agree it's very commonplace. Speaking for myself as an old fart of the same vintage as Horner, I know better. I wouldn't. I'd like to hope you do too, irrespective of your age.

FWIW - someone at PistonHeads read the controversial 19-page write up on the Horner matter in the equally controversial BusinessF1 Magazine.

In the meantime the editor has received correspondence from Horner's legal representation alleging that the reporting has been unlawful and defamatory, stating that the article does serious harm to Horner's reputation. The article is also alleged to have breached privacy laws, and they have demanded that the article should be taken offline and no longer printed in hard copies.

I get what you are saying, still he should’ve known he has way more to lose by going down the road he has. He’s acting like an F1 driver now, nothing is his fault and there should be no consequences.

Show me your friends and I'll show you who'll you become in 5 years. He's human. Of course it's his fault, but are we better than him? Do we not have faults? Would we not possibly make the same mistake in his same shoes?

I think we might, and therefore I give him the benefit of the doubt.

And just to be clear, I'm no CH fan (don't know him, just the way he's portrayed on DTS), but he's human, I'm human, and it's not so much of a stretch for me to believe that I could do the things he does, and vice versa.
