F10 535xi Acceleration Click/Tap *HELP*

Hey guys, today I discover a clicking noise while accelerating in my f10. The clicking only occurs when giving gas but when idle the car sounds normal. I began to believe it may have something to do with the tensioner and belt system but after doing some online research I may be wrong?? ItÂ’s idles rough on occasion, coils and spark plugs will be changed sometime this week. IÂ’ll be taking it to get a diagnostic tomorrow but any help would be much appreciated.
