self adjusting xenon fail

hi i have 520 e61 2008 with problem wite the self adjustments on the xenon.
i have a new level senor on front right side, but it makes no difrent, the ligts doesn't move upp and down.
When I have the car up blanketed (wheels in the air) then it works, then you will see that xenon lights moving up and down. But then it's a different angle on the level sensor.
it is possible to program the "zero" position of the level sensor via ipna or program.

I have seen on the e46 community to the level of the engine into the lamp houses popping loose.
How do I loose level engine in the lamp housings to ensure that they are not popped loose.

grateful for tips
