I love it. It is different but subtle and some of the design detailing is updated, without making the old one date too quick and loose value.

I love the headlights, they look like a bird of prey to me, just these new ones are fatter, so it is now a well fed bird of prey!

Styling preferences are such a personal preference thing -- no "right or wrong answer". That being said, I have never been a fan of the current 5 series.
