It will not go into productions, but it does gives clues about that ///M guys are up to, and what can be done with the M5.
What I found interesting the most was using the current M3's DCT. That means that it will hold up under almost 600 Bhp abuse. Expect to see it (or slightly modified) in the next M5. Also, if the airbox produced some gains you might see it available as an option when they start producing the last run of M5's in an effort to sell them off before the new car hits showrooms.
I think they went overboard with the ///M striping. It's not the Batmobile.
